I'm In Love with this Boy

What a cutie? Oh my, I'm super duper in love with this little boy. I was just browsing through pictures of kids and found this angel. His eyes are heavenly and he looks like an adult.

I keep looking at this boy at the moment and can't take my eyes on him. Oh my God, how I wish my son (if I'm going to have a boy) will look exactly like him. I know it isn't possible, I'm just wishing.

I wonder where is this cute little boy right now and how old he may be at the moment.

Can't Wait For Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching and I really can't wait to spend it with my hubby and our daughter at Daet, Camarines Norte. Yes, I'm super excited because I can get to see my whole family at Daet. Since I was young, I and my family spend our Christmas at Daet.

I really thought I won't be able to spend Christmas at Daet because I'm on my 7th month of pregnancy and it is not really advisable for me to travel far places. But since I will be traveling with my hubby and our daughter, it will be okay.

Just few days to go and it's Christmas. My hubby plans to travel to Daet by the 24th and we will be back here in Legazpi by the 26th.

Last night, I got an early Christmas gift from my sweet and loving hubby. He gave me an authentic Incanto - Salvatore Ferragamo perfume. It's scent is definitely amazing, I really love it. Thank you my dear hubby, you never failed to surprise me. I love you just because.

In return, my Christmas gift for you will be this baby inside my womb. Hopefully, this baby is a boy because it is what we're looking forward. But according to you, may it be a girl or boy, he/she will be surely love.

My Baby's Development @ 29 Weeks

  • This week marks an important milestone in your baby development: his brain has matured to the point where it can help regulate body temperature. Baby isn't ready to do it all on his own yet; he still needs the warmth of your body to do so. -I so love my unborn child so I keep him warm all the time. I keep talking to him and tell him how I love him. It feels good to know that he needs me.

  • Nerve cells are continuously developed in his brain. By birth, he'll have hundreds of billions of them. Seems like a lot, but he won't produce any more after birth. - I just hope my baby will be able to developed fully and become healthier each day until I give birth to him.

  •  Your baby is looking more like a fullterm baby now. He's plumping up nicely because of the fat he's starting to gain. It's keeping him warm. Baby also has eyelashes now. - I can't wait to see my baby. I'm just excited like all other expecting moms out there. I wish he'll have nice eyelashes like her sister.

  • He weighs 1.2 kg now, measuring 26 cm but 40 cm when stretched. - I can feel how big my baby is now. He still moves frequently and I feel so loved and blessed whenever he do movements because I know he is so much alive inside me.

Happy Birthday To Me

Thank you Lord for another year. My birthday wish is to have a happy and long life together with my hubby, our daughter, and the new bundle of joy that will come real soon. Probably, more kids to come because I want a big family and take care of more little angels.

In terms of material things, these are the things I want:
- a pink headphone for my cp so I can listen to music to put myself to sleep..
- a comfy shoes or sandals
- enough money so I can go "ukay-ukay" all day at the market
- a salon make-over (foot spa and hair relax)
- anything but PINK!

Above all, I simply want a HAPPY PINK LIFE!

My 27th Birthday Prayer

Dear Lord, thank you for giving me another year of life to live.
Thank you for all the wonderful people who remembered me today by sending their greetings, gifts, good wishes, and all the tokens of love that reminds me of how I am loved and appreciated, most especially to my hubby and my daughter who never fails to surprise me.

Dear Lord, thank you for all the experiences – good and bad – for the past year. I have certainly learned a lot from it. Forgive me for all my wrong doings; for all the times I forgot to praise, remember, and thank you; for the chances I failed to take; and for all the opportunities I missed the past year.
Please help me in the days to come to make this the best year yet, bring good credit to myself as a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, and a friend; as well as great happiness and pride to all my loved ones, and of course, a never ending joy to you.

Now, I pray for your blessings, protection, and guidance in my every day journey together with my whole family, especially this new bundle of joy coming real soon.

My 27th Birthday Plans

This coming Friday, November 30, 2012 I will turn 27 years old. I thank God everyday for showering me so much blessings since the day I was born in this world. I thank my Mom and Dad and my whole family for being there for me while I was growing up.

As of today, the greatest gift I will be receiving for my birthday is the baby inside me. I'm really hoping for a baby boy, but if it will be a girl, it's okay. All I want is a healthy baby that will give us so much joy.

My birthday plans?

1. Dinner on Friday night at home. My hubby will cook and order our food. My mother-in-law will also prepare salad, and I will buy myself my favorite chocolate cake. My Mom will also buy some food to add to our dinner.

2. On Friday, I also plan to go bonding with my daughter since she has no school that day. Probably, we will go to Cagsawa Ruins if we cannot visit there by tomorrow, Thursday. Or we will just go to the malls here in our city and go shopping.

3. If I have enough money, I will surely pamper myself by going to the salon and get a suiting foot spa.

4. Also, on Friday I will go to "ukay-ukay" with my daughter and buy some clothes at a very cheap price.

5. And of course, I won't forget to go to church. If I can't attend mass, I will surely light up candles, make wishes, and thank God for everything.

My Baby's Development @ 28 Weeks

My baby's development as of today..

  • The sight sense is already working. Your baby will react to bright light that shines through your womb. - I wonder how such bright light can shine through my womb. I'll do some research about it to know how it is possible.
  • He doesn't like it too much though. He's responding to sounds in the environment, too. To your voice, to your growing stomach when you're hungry, even to noises outside your body.  - I'm so happy to know that my baby can already hear lots of noises from the environment. He could probably hear his Dad, Mom, and Ate when we're talking to each other as well as us talking to him as if he is physically with us. He may not like it too much but for sure he will be able to adjust to it.
  • Blood vessels are forming throughout both lungs. At his first breath of air, his lungs will absorb the oxygen, and circulate the oxygenated blood throughout his body. - Sooner or later my baby will be a complete human being. I just can't wait for him to come out and see how beautiful the world is.
  • Baby is also producing a substance that will allow him to breath properly after birth. Your baby is gaining weight rapidly now. He may weigh nearly 1kg now. He measures 25cm but 40cm if stretched out. - I can really feel that my baby is gaining so much weight as my tummy grows bigger and bigger each week. I can also feel him like stretching out. I can really feel him move around my tummy.

The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 2

"After the birth of Renesmee, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi."

Storyline (IMDb)

"Bella is enjoying her new life and new powers, after the birth of their daughter, Renesmee. Soon, however, their family bliss is threatened again, by a new menace. Vampire Irina believes a child like Renesmee could challenge the power and existence of the Volturi. As Irina rallies the Volturi to destroy this potential threat, Bella and the Cullens - together with any allies they can assemble - are preparing to fight a crucial, ultimate battle, to protect their family."Written by LinaZ

Just like all other die hard fans of Twilight, I'm totally desperate to be able to watch this today. I've waited for this second part of the Twilight Saga for over a year. I remember watching the first part of this with my nephew. This time around, I'm going to watch this movie with my daughter. I promised her that I will take her with me to watch this movie. Hopefully she'll get better today so we could go to the movie house this afternoon or tomorrow. I don't think my hubby would like to come with us because he is not a fan of the Twilight movies after all. Well, if my baby gets okay today, it would be our mother and daughter bonding time as we watch the movie.

Chantal Zoe Is Turning 8!

Advance Happy Birthday to my daughter. You will always be our baby girl!
Daddy, Mommy, and Baby loves you so so much!
You will always be the apple of the eye of Daddy.
And you will always be Mommy's little darling.

Next week Wednesday, November 21, 2012, my daughter will be celebrating her 8th birthday. She doesn't want to have a super terrific party, instead she just want to serve  snack to her classmates after their class and our family will have a swimming bonding by next week Saturday.

Of course there will always be a surprise from Daddy and Mommy on the day of her birthday. I plan on surprising her the moment she wake up. For sure she will really be surprised and thankful.

A Big Help From My Daughter

Today is Monday and it's usually the day of the week that I do my weekly general cleaning at our house. My general cleaning usually include changing the bed covers and pillow covers, sweeping and mopping the floor, feather dusting a lot of stuffs, as well as "defrozing" the fridge, doing the laundry, and cleaning the bathroom. Doing all of these alone generally takes me the whole morning and about the first four hours in the afternoon.

But good thing my daughter doesn't have a school today and she promised to help me clean the house. Thank God we were able to finish all the things we need to finish before lunch time. Having my daughter around today and helping me a lot in cleaning our house is such a big relief on my part. I know I shouldn't work too hard especially now that I'm pregnant, particularly on my 6th month of pregnancy. Fortunately, the baby inside me is so strong and I don't get easily tired when cleaning and doing other strenuous activities.

As a reward for my daughter, I bought her her favorite mango ice cream at the grocery store just after having our lunch, as well as buy her favorite kind of snack (ginataan). In the afternoon. I also allowed her to use my netbook and let her play her favorite computer games as long as she wants while I watch TV and take some rest.

How To Be A Good Housewife?

Let me share with you this short content I have read from a book entitled "Did You Ever Think That". This would be very inspirational and helpful for every housewife out there. I hope we all come to realize the message of this content.

Happiness in the Home

To be a good housewife, one must imitate both the examples of the ant,
and that of the locust.

Over and above all, it is essential that a woman knows how to conduct and attend
to her household:  she must know how to live within the domestic walls
as if she were within a small kingdom, which must be ever made
more and more beautiful and attractive,
so that her husband will have no grounds for making dangerous comparisons
but, on the contrary, will find his complete satisfaction in it.

However, let there be no exaggerations!
For instance, at meal time do not let the defects of the housekeeper
be thetheme of conversation and the displeasing topic of the
high cost of living its conclusion.
Let all small troubles and worries be kept to herself.
She would disregard unpleasant arguments whenever it is in anyway feasible,
otherwise her husband will become annoyed,
his digestion will be impaired and he will run out of the house
still chewing the last mouthful : perhaps, in desperation,
he would even welcome the company of a locust, which,
though not as capable as ourselves, will at least allow him to talk
of politics and sport while she, in joyful and happy spirit,
confines herself to topics of music, fashion and books...
And as a consequence, their happiness would be placed in grave peril.

But it is a peril that can be easily avoided if the ant learns how to wear,
at least for a while, the wings of the locust,
and so in this way establishes perfect equilibrium on the domestic scene.

My Point of View as a Housewife for Nine Years
  • It is indeed very important to keep our own house beautiful and attractive. Of course, who wants to live in a very messy house, it would be very uncomfortable for everybody. It doesn't mean that one needs to change the bed sheets, blankets, and pillow covers every day, or arrange all stuff at once. What's necessary is simply washing the every day dishes used by the family, arranging the pillows and blankets once everybody is already awake, sweep the floor, do some feather dusting and mopping of the floor, just the simple clean-up jobs just to make sure that the whole house is dust and clutter free. This will help in maintaining the house clean enough and it will certainly look lively and beautiful. This will satisfy the look and feel of every family member and indeed the husband will have no grounds to be mad or angry, and make comparisons in terms of the overall look of the surroundings inside the home.

  • During mealtime, it's just advisable to talk happy things in life and not about the problems of wife, husband, the kids, and even the helper and other family members. It can really loose one's appetite if during meal time someone is mad and keeps on talking about just any problem. Things can always be talked about and settled after meal time.

  • Another role a housewife is to become her husbands best friend and not only as a partner. At the same time, the husband should also do the same. Husband and wife should have time for each other like they were just boyfriend and girlfriends sharing stories, doing things they like together, and most importantly, understanding each other. But of course, having time alone is also very essential for both the husband and wife, and even the kids.

Family Bonding: Dinner At Biggs

As promised, Daddy treat us for dinner today at Biggs, Albay. We go out together (just the three of us) to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at least once a month. It is one kind of our bonding moments aside from going out with the whole family, and watching TV shows or movies at home or at the cinema.

It was my hubby and my personal choice to have dinner at Biggs because the food is really great. Although it's kinda expensive, the food is worth it. I just love Korean Pork BBQ  that comes with mixed vegetables and paired with Java Rice. My hubby prefers the spicy Cajun Chicken particularly the thigh part. Our daughter just love the Italian Spaghetti paired with the leg part of the chicken. When it comes to our drinks, we have different choices. I prefer iced cold tea, while my hubby just loves pineapple juice for health reasons, and our daughter likes Royal soda.

It was a perfect night for the three of us. A happy family that bonds once in a while brings so much happiness.

My Baby's Development @ 24 Weeks

My baby's latest development as of today according to the Pampers Baby Development widget I have here on my blog.

  • Your baby is more active than ever. Unfortunately he starts just when you go to sleep. Especially between 24 and 28 weeks. After that, there won't be enough room for his acrobatics. - This is why once I lay down to sleep my baby keeps on moving and I'm having a hard time going to sleep. I also don't know what's the best sleeping position for me because whenever I face the left or right side of the bed, I felt like the baby inside my stomach can't move freely.
  • Your baby's skin is still thin and transparent, you see the blood vessels, bones, and organs, beneath it. It will thicken as the months pass, until it's opaque like your skin. - I can imagine how my baby looks like inside my tummy. I've watched several videos of baby's development and it's just amazing.
  • Even if they're shut, all the parts of his eyes are present, including the retina. The iris, the coloured part of the eye, still doesn't have any pigmentation. - I know my baby is sleeping beautifully inside my tummy. I can't wait to see him. I know for sure he will have a very soulful eyes.
  •  Your baby weighs up to 480 grams this week and measures just over 25 cm. - My baby is getting bigger and bigger each day and so is my tummy.

I only have less than 3 months to wait and I can finally see my second child. I'm getting more excited each day. Next week, I'll have my check-up again with my OB and hopefully before the month of November ends I can already have an ultrasound so I can know my baby's gender.

Pencil Pregnancy Test

What is the pencil test? The pencil pregnancy test is used to determine the gender of unborn babies.  By placing a needle on the end of a pencil eraser and then adding the string to the needle, you can create a do-it-yourself ultrasound – make sure to still get the ultrasound, but once you do, you will realize the pencil test was correct!
Is the pencil pregnancy test accurate – does the pencil test really work? Yes, the pregnancy pencil test is accurate and really does work.  Many websites say that the pencil pregnancy test does not work but this is because many of the websites have the information incorrect.
How does it work? We are not actually sure how it scientifically works but we believe that because everything is planned by God, he gave us this little tool to determine the gender of a child.    The pencil pregnancy test even predicts miscarriages and abortions.  God has a plan whether you like it or not.  Here’s how it works:
  1. Stick the needle into the top of the pencil eraser – the pencil should be very sharp.
  2. Place a thread within the needle – two feet of thread should do fine…
  3. The device has been created.
  4. Place the woman’s wrist on a table – back of hand face down
  5. Holding the string with both of your hands, hover the threaded pencil over the wrist – remember, the back of the hand is face down and the palm of the hand is face up.
  6. The Prediction begins:With amazement, the end of the pencil (lead side) will begin to move.  It will predict the sex of the child – IN ORDER!
You can do this to women who have not yet had children or those that have already had children – it predicts…as well as tells the woman’s pregnancy history.
The prediction will always start with a circle.
  • Swaying from side-to-side = girl
  • Swaying up-and-down – hand to elbow = boy
  • Swaying  diagonal = Twins! We think!!! Due to the overwhelming response, it seems the diagonal may be a break during “pencil thinking” rather than a twin prediction. We just don’t know! SO if you get a diagonal, don’t go out and buy two of everything, get the Ultrasound first!
  • Large circle = miscarriage/abortion

SOURCE: http://pencilpregnancytest.com/

This is such an amazing experiment to do. I remember doing such thing during highschool days but I've already forgot what was the prediction for me. All I remember is that I will really bear a child of my own in the future.

Just the other day a parent from my daughter's school asked me if I already know the gender of my baby, and I said I don't know yet because I will just have my ultrasound by the end of November or early December. And then she mentioned to me what her sister and other relatives do in order to predict the gender of the baby and that is by using the pencil and needle test. She knows how to do it as well but unfortunately during that time we were talking, we don't have the materials needed.

The following day I brought the materials just to try it. (I actually tried it at home but I don't know how it really works.) Well, sad to say she hasn't showed up yet because she's kinda busy at her work. I just always bring with me the materials so that when we see each other again, we could try the said test.

Order a schadenfreude movie on DVD now!

My Baby's Development @ 23 Weeks

My baby's latest development as of today according to the Pampers Baby Development widget I have here on my blog. There are also helpful tips suggested for me to do.

  • Your baby can hear you and prefers your voice to any other sound. - It feels really good to know that the baby inside me can really hear me and that he prefers my voice more than anything else. Well, I always talk to my baby like greeting him good morning, good night, how is he doing today? and the likes. My daughter also keeps on talking to him whenever we're together. She likes holding my tummy and eventually the baby inside will do little kicks as if he's responding to us.

  • Give him a daily treat by reading, talking, or singing to him. The more your baby hears your voice, the more familiar it will be to him when he's born. - As mentioned, I kept on talking to my every day. I also listen to music every night which puts me to sleep until the next morning comes. I feel like me and my baby are being lull to sleep with the music from my phone's radio. For sure he will be very familiar with my voice as well with her Ate Chantal who keeps on talking to him whenever possible.

  • The amniotic fluid that surrounds your baby is perfect for him to grow into a healthy newborn. The salty fluids keep him warm, protects him from infections, and is buoyant enough for him to exercise his developing body. - I bet my baby keeps on exercising each day because I could already feel him kick and do a lot of movements every time. It always makes me smile whenever he moves because I know he's very much alive and okay.

  • Your baby looks like a tiny, newborn. He now weighs about 370 grams, and measures about 25cm. - Oh yeah, my baby is getting bigger and bigger and soon he will come out.

Everybody else is very excited about me giving birth again and meeting my new baby. Having an additional family member is such a blessing. I just really hope and pray both of us will be safe all the time and that I will not have a hard time until the day I give birth. I'm really hoping that my baby will be healthy enough and that he will be a happy baby. That's all I asked and I will be the among the happiest mom in the world.

Just Pretty Excited!

Yes indeed, I'm just pretty excited about having a second baby. Of course, I've been wishing for a baby boy. Well, a lot of people predicted that I'll be having a baby boy this time, which I really hope would happen. And because I'm too excited even if I haven't had my ultrasound yet and I have set my mind that I'll be having a boy, I've copied, edited, and created this banner.

Whew! I feel so very happy looking at this picture.
I'm super excited. I can't wait for the day I will be able to see, kiss, hug, and take good care of my second baby.
Every baby is such a blessing and I just really can't wait for this little angel.

Need A Baby Mop?

I found this picture posted at Facebook today and find this sort of advertisement quite interesting. This is all about a Baby Mop Dress which is said to be better than ordinary baby pants because of its advantages. This is the very first time I heard about this thing and I think it's a good kind of clothing for babies.

According to the picture above, there are 5 top reasons why you would need a baby mop.

1. It will teach your baby a strong work ethic early on in their life.
2. Your baby will learn not to drop and waste food.
3. Baby will get a nice workout, burn off energy, and do muscle toning. And sleep better too!
4. Not having to clean your floor saves you time so you can spend it doing things you enjoy.
5. Save lots of money on house cleaning costs.

Well, in my own opinion, this baby mop clothing is kinda weird in a sense that babies will still crawl on the floor especially if they don't know how to walk yet, and the same way they will still catch germs.

At first I thought this was a joke but indeed it is a real product. Costing about $40, one can buy this product which doubles as a cleaning tool from BetterThanPants.com

Chantal's Special Surprise for Teachers' Day

Ate Chantal singing "Glowing Inside" by Nikki Gil - dedicated to all teachers of DWCL Elementary Department.

I'm one such proud Mommy! My daughter was asked by her teacher if she could sing for the celebration of Worlds Teachers' Day, and she hurriedly said "yes!".

I was not that worried practicing my daughter because I know she can sing well. It was last Tuesday that I was able to find the perfect song, "Glowing Inside" by Nikki Gil. I was amazed that my little girl was able to memorize the lyrics of the song and perfect its tune in less than three days.

And today, she was able to pull it off. I actually felt more nervous than her. And as usual, I cried because I was happy and proud of her. Too bad her Dad and her grandparents wasn't able to watch her perform. But it's okay because she did promised to sing it to them when she comes home.

After the program at school, I treated my daughter to her favorite fast-food chain, Jollibee as a reward for her and she definitely loved it.

Craving for Breaded Fish Fillet

My mother-in-law just made the yummiest breaded fish fillet I've ever taste. Well, maybe I have said such compliment because it's been years since I was able to eat fish fillet. And because of that I have decided to search online for fish fillet recipes and probably one of these days create my own breaded fish fillet recipe.

I have found several breaded fish fillet recipes online and I'm quite excited to prepare a flaky, whole white fish fillet with crunchy coating. I'm so sure my family will like and love it.

How My Day Starts And Ends

I want to share with you my everyday life activities. You'll find out how my day usually starts and how it will generally end. I'm used to it and I love my everyday life, although of course sometimes, I feel bored and wants to do something else. It's not really nice after all to stay inside the house the whole day because it's like you're stuck and will forever be.

My weekday activities is quite similar to my weekend activities, it's just that I can get sleep late during Friday and Saturday night and woke up late by Saturday and Sunday morning.

During weekdays when my daughter has a school and my hubby has an office, I woke up as early as 5:30 in the morning. I tried my best to wake up by 5:00 am but I just really can't do it as often as possible. As soon as I'm able to wash my face, I prepare hot water for my daughter and my hubby, while I also prepare breakfast for me and my daughter. My hubby doesn't have breakfast at home because he's always in a hurry to go to work since his office is far from where we live and he needs to take our daughter to school before 7:00 am. I usually wake my daughter from bed before 6:00 am and give her a bath before her dad wakes up. I do not allow my daughter to take a bath on her own during school days because she takes too much time inside the bathroom playing with soap and water. Once she's finish taking a bath, she will get dressed while I prepare the table, and we will wake her Daddy up. After our breakfast, my daughter will brush her teeth, wear her uniform, and I will fix her hair, while her Dad takes a bath and get dressed too. By quarter to 7 in the morning, they've already left the house and I'm all alone again.

As soon as my hubby and my daughter left the house, my cleaning routine begins. I start by sweeping the floor, mopping the floor at least every other day, arrange the bed, wash the dishes, do the laundry, have my morning snacks, and do some blogging if time will allow me. I should be able to finish all these stuffs by 10 am and that's the time I take a bath and prepare myself for an early lunch at my in-laws house. After lunch, I will go to my daughter's school and let her have her lunch together with her cousin. By 12:30 I'm heading back home and will wash the dishes used by my daughter and her cousin, and finish my laundry if I'm not able to finish it in the morning.

By 2pm, I usually take some rest and that's the time I can get to watch TV. I hardly get to take a nap in the afternoon because I usually have my netbook with me and prefer playing games, surfing the net, and blogging while watching TV. At past 4:00 in the afternoon, I always have my afternoon snack since I easily get hungry. After that, I will do just about anything like reading magazines or playing cellphone games while waiting for my hubby and my daughter to arrive from work and school.

As soon as my daughter and my hubby arrive at our house. I help my hubby prepare our dinner and at the same time check my daughter's books and notebooks for any homework. We usually have our dinner as early as 6:30 in the evening. By that time, me and my daughter have already taken a bath and ready for dinner. After dinner, I will wash the dishes and ask my daughter to check on her homework. After we're able to finish her homework, we will get inside our room and watch TV together with my hubby. That's the time we can bond together, share what happened at school, work, and at home.

My daughter usually sleeps at 9:00 pm while me and my hubby prefers watching news first before going to sleep. More often, my hubby and I goes to sleep by past 10:00 pm.

So these is how my weekdays starts and ends. I'm kinda used to it but as I mentioned at the start of this post, I sometimes feel boring. That's why whenever possible, if I have a free time in the afternoon, I usually go to the mall and unwind.

Check Out Your Options

This is something I want to share to all pregnant moms out there. I found this information at my baby book. This has something to do about the options we could take and consider when we are going to give birth.

PAIN CONTROL (Epidurals vs Analgesics)

Epidurals
> the most effective form of pain relief during labor
> may be extended to cover for post-operative pain management if epidural anesthesia was used during cesarean section procedure
> there may be an increased risk of a forcep or vacuum delivery

Analgesics
> intramuscular analgesics can be administered while early in labor
> helps you relax, even doze off, which is useful if labor is long and tiring
> can make some women very sick, needs other drugs to offset this

VENUE (Hospital vs Home)

Hospital
> if you need medical intervention such as forceps delivery or a cesarean section, then there's readily available instruments, drugs and medical staff
> nursing care and emergency facilities for the baby is readily available
> entails more cost

Home
> mothers-to-be feel more privacy, comfort, and family support
> avoids many of the routine interventions in some hospitals
> easier to remain active and mobile
> choices for pain relief are more limited
> lower cost

TYPE (Vaginal vs Cesarean Section)

Vaginal
> no surgical stress, minimizing blood loss
> low risk of infection
> hemodynamic stability
> early ambulation
> bonding time with baby upon birth
> may be unpredictable, prolonged and stressful

Cesarean Section
> fetal medical considerations like fetal distress, malpresentation, cord problems, higher birth weight
>maternal medical indications like rupture of membranes, repeat cesarean, placenta previa, placenta abruptions
>fetal/maternal considerations like cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD), incoordinate uterine action, uterine dysfunction and uterine inertia

With these options given above, I just really hope and pray I will have a safe delivery by next year. I'm proud to say I didn't had a hard time with my first born child 8 years ago. I only labored for about an hour and with just two hard pushes, my daughter came out safely. Hopefully, for my second child, I can do it on a normal delivery and if I can give birth at home, it would be better and less expensive.
